Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitová has been announced as a Global Athlete ambassador for Right To Play, an organisation which emphasises sports and play in order to 'educate and empower' children around the world.

The Czech tennis player commented 'I am so excited to be a Global Ambassador for Right To Play, it is a charity whose work I really believe in - giving children the opportunity to learn through sport is a cause that's very close to my heart'.
